Bereavement Ministry

Each of us suffer losses in our lives, members of this ministry assist others who are dealing with the loss of a loved one by providing bereavement support which may include cards, phone calls, visits and educational literature about the bereavement process. We meet regularly for support and formation. Individuals or couples who think they might be called to minister to others as a member of this team will be given training, materials and support.

 Healing Grief Support Group

Meets at 3pm on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month in meeting room 2. This is a peer support group for those who are grieving. The group usually begins with an educational video and discussion. Members are then encouraged to share experiences and feelings as they are comfortable. All are welcome to attend when they are able.
